This week America mourned the loss of Senator Edward Kennedy. Aside from the three-word expected response, post what you think someone from Tralfamadore might say about his life and about his death.
Why are these Americans so excited by the temporal death of this man? He is still alive in the moments of the past that make up his lifetime... He may be in that realm of violet light and humming at this point in time, but there are many other points in time where he is completely fine.
Senator Edward Kennedy was apparently a very important human being. He is dead now, ah well, in another moment he is making an important speech, in yet another he is ammending the Voting Rights Act to lower the voting age of earthlings to eighteen years old. Why are the humans mourning? Why are they not celebrating? Ah well, so it goes.
Attention Earthlings: GET A GRIP! Just because Kennedy will not be around in the future does NOT mean that he is gone forever. He is merely jumping back and forth in time, sporadically skipping from experiences in office to those at home, from when he was just a child playing with his puppy to when he met the love of his life, from when he began campaigning for national health insurance to helping prohibit discrimination based on disability, and so on. Time is time and everything exists forever.
Senator Ted Kennedy will now be joining us in a place where he can live in other times and places. He won't exist physically in the present anymore, but he will be able to exist through the past, present, and future, and move freely about the three. Although some may be mourning over his so called death, he is still living, they just don't know.
Though sadness is all you humans can feel and mourning is the only reaction your three dimensional beings can respond with, think of the Edward as the longest serving senator who held pivotal power in the Obama presidential nomination.Think of Edward's future with his brothers. Let us rejoice in his presence in other moments. So it goes.
Edward has indeed died in your world, but even though all you know is mourning when it comes to death, celebrate his new life. Think about it, yes he has left you and your race, but now he can help the world even more since he is able to simultaneously be in different times at once! You don't know it now, but Kennedy is going to change the future in remarkable ways that you would never even think of!!!! He has died, but he has also been reborn......
Senator Edward Kennedy is in a bad condition in this particular moment, but he is just fine in plenty of others. In fact, Kennedy may appear to be dead but is very well alive in our past and will continue to excist as such, forever more. Do not mourn for him but rather live in the moments he lived and he will be alive for eternity, for he has yet to truly be gone in the eyes of history.
Senator Kennedy is not dead! He's just in a worse state than he was yesterday. If he dont recover just remember how he felt seconds before he closed his eyes. He still has life, you're just too focused on what the world thinks happened to him. You should celebrate his past, present, and future life. Why not he's probably sayin........ SO IT GOES.
Nobody can compare with what Edward Kennedy had as Senator. The influence he had on the people through his words and the way he handled controversial issues is something we, ourselves, marveled at. Being the third longest- serving senator in history, it is safe to say that his absence will leave a split in those strong American hearts of yours. Nevertheless, there is no reason to mull over the darkness, look at the light in this: he has passed many, many laws during his career that helped shape your country even more. Yes, having the last name “Kennedy” put him ahead but he wouldn’t be buried in Arlington if he wasn’t noteworthy. This “Lion of the Senate” will never go away, even for us...so it goes...
Well, since the Tralfamadorian's believe that the dead should not be mourned because they think those who pass continue in worsened conditions, it is difficult to imagine their precise reaction. However I feel that they would say "Do not be saddened just because our dear Senator Kennedy has entered into a worse state of life. He thrives in our memories and although he is not physically upon us, he is still very much around."
Ted Kennedy is gone now and tomorrow but I'll see him later. I will go back 50 years to when he was in his prime. Death is never the end. It's pitiful that humans can not see this. Mourning when there is nothing to mourn because there not really gone.
Although the death of Ted Kennedy makes his monumnetal accomplishments stand out now, they will inevitably be vieled by the successes of another skillful politician. The death of this great man was merely one of the many that have come to characterize the human experience.
Why feel melancholic when Senator Edward Kennedy is not dead?! Yes, he will be missed and we all are thankful for the all the remarkable works he has done, but just because we don't see him physically doesn't mean that he's not alive! I bet he's doing numerous things right now. I think that's vacuous way to think. Instead of mourning about his death we should all celebrate it!
Now, Now, we mustn't be so harsh on our fellow earthlings. It must be taken into consideration that humans have not been blessed with the fourth dimensional technique we, tralfamadorians, have inherited. Instead of becoming hostile towards them, we must pity them for their lack of intelligence. It is rather unfortunate that humans are too shallow to acknowledge the truth which lies beneath their eyes. Yes, Senator Edward Kennedy has "passed",but what they are unaware of is that although his body may lay lifeless, his soul will never die.
I just don't understand why you humans are mourning. This should be a time of happiness and celebration. Kennedy may be dead physically, but he is alive spirutually. Just look back at all of the acomplishments he has achieved in his lifetime and be thankful that you had someone to come in your world and do some of the things he has done.
Today we acknowledge the death of a very influential man. This moment, is exactly what it is, a moment. Ted Kennedy has accomplished more goals in this country than other senates could even conceive. It is inspiring to think that even though Kennendy has done so much in his past, that he still has a very bright future ahead of him. I have already seen the unity and loyalty that he will create in this nation. Today, as we remenber him as who he was, let us also eternalize him through his thoughts and actions.
With the "passing" of Senator Edward Kennedy, many of my fellow earthlings have been mourning, when really what they should be doing is celebrating the multitude of accomplishments of this great man. This time should not evoke sadness in my fellow people, but instead the realization that this is not the end; Kennedy's spirit will continue to live on and have an impact on all of our lives.
